The dad asks the son

A mom and dad who were suspicious of their son skipping school walk into his room with a machine that beeps when it hears a lie.

The dad asks the son, “Son, were you at school today?”

The son replies, “Of course I was!” BEEP!

“Okay,” says the son, “I skipped to go to the arcade.” BEEP!

Okay, okay!” The son starts to sweat.

“I went to the movies to see the new Disney movie.” BEEP!

“Okay! It was that new R-rated movie.”

The machine stays silent.

“Violent movies at your age?” The dad turns red in frustration.

“I never watched those movies at your age!” BEEP!

The mom chuckles and says, “well, he is your son, after all.” BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP!
